Antti Manninen
Antti Manninen, MA (*1960, Finland) is Project Manager in the City of Helsinki Cultural Office. He studied arts in Helsinki University and worked as a teacher from 1987 until 1996. In 1997 he took over the management of the Kanneltalo Cultural Centre, and at the same time was director of the Cablefactory Cultural Centre in Helsinki from 2003 until 2005. At present he is involved in the reorganisation of cultural administration in Helsinki. Since 2000 he has been a board member of the European Network of Cultural Centres (ENCC) that links national associations throughout Europe. From 2001 to 2003 he was chairman of the Suomen kulttuuritalojen neuvottelukunta, the Network for Finnish Culture Centres. Since 2004 he has been member of the board of the Trans Europe Halles Network (THE), the European network of independent cultural centres, and since 2005 has been its “ambassador”.
